Who Else Wants to Stop Underarm Sweat ---In Half The Time


If you're under the age of twelve, you might not have a problem with underarm sweat, however starting at the age of thirteen, is when 3 percent of our population starts to notice an onslaught of sweat. For most average excessive sufferers to control their problem it's fairly easy with the use of anti-bacterial soap and regular antiperspirant deodorant. For others, their sweating is anything but normal and may be so serious that they have to carry a change of clothes everywhere they go.

Underarm perspiration can also cause problems with your self esteem, and can keep you from feeling as confident as you once was. There are ways to stop underarm sweat which can include something as simple as changing the products that you use or using other products. Whether you choose to use prescription medications or all natural remedies may depend on your health condition and how serious your sweating really is.

Some people sweating is so severe that it can be considered debilitating. This type of sweating is referred to as hyperhidrosis. Hyperhidrosis; in addition to affecting the armpits may also cause sweating in other areas such as the palms of your hands and the soles of the feet as well. While most people who are dealing with hyperhidrosis are perfectly healthy, there are a number of health conditions that can cause excessive sweating which should be ruled out before proceeding with any kind of treatment plans.

You can stop or slow underarm perspiration by keeping your underarm area as clean and dry as possible; then applying over the counter, clinical strength antiperspirant. However, if these products do not seem to be helpful, you may need a prescription strength antiperspirant and/or an over the counter medication. Another option for treatment for underarm perspiration are botox injections. Although many people are hesitant to try this treatment because it can be very painful.


Botox is usually very effective, but if this doesn't work well for you, there is another step that can be taken which can seem extreme to many people. The ETS surgery. This surgery is used to treat excessive sweating and is considered to be the treatment of last resort. For some, this surgery has terrible side affects and can lead to additional sweating in different parts of the body then the origin of the sweating problem.

However, since there are a number of all natural/ home remedies to help you with your underarm sweating it's good to try them first. Some additional considerations are; only loose fitting clothing, natural fiber clothing, using a personal, mister fan and a special cloths to blot the excessive sweat from the armpits. Also try drinking special teas and other herbal remedies that's designed to stop underarm sweating.
